Family Visas

Whether you’re a partner or parent looking to reunite with your loved ones in Australia – you could be eligible for an Australian immigration family visa. Take advantage of our friendly and experienced staff to make the transition as smooth as possible.

The Australian family migration stream aims to bring immediate and extended family members closer to their relatives living in Australia and is based on a set of criteria set out by the Department of Immigration.

The family sponsorship visa applies to anyone who:

•    Is a fiancé, spouse or de facto partner, including same-sex partner of the Australian sponsor
•    Has a child/children in Australia who is an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen

Visas in the family sponsorship category include:

Australian Parent Visa

The Contributory Parent category was introduced in mid-2003 to allow the expansion of the Parent Migration Program on the basis that applicants pay a higher visa application charge and a larger Assurance of Support (AoS) bond (with a longer Assurance of Support period). There are also considerably more places available in the Contributory Parent category each year than are available in the Parent category.

Australian Partner Visa

This includes spouse or prospective marriage (fiancé) sponsorships. It is important that you understand the relationship requirements of the Partner Migration Program, including the specific types of evidence that are needed by the Immigration Authorities in order to guarantee the most successful outcome. Every case is unique and the documentary evidence required is extensive, however, with the help of Migrate 2 Oz, we will stand by you to make sure it’s a walk in the park.
