There are about to be major changes that will affect who can be included in your Australian visa application
The new definition of Member of the Family Unit comes into effect on 19 November 2016.
The main change is that you can no longer include a dependent parent on a skilled visa application.
Previously you were able to include a dependent parent if they were single, living with you and financially dependent upon you.
You will still be able to include your spouse or de-facto partner and any dependent children up to the age of 23.
Please contact us to discuss how these changes will affect your future plans for migrating to Australia.
